The education centers functional under the PES project have its own specialty, uniqueness and easy acceptance. The centers were opened on the basis of intensity of problems, no of non school going children, geographical location and community participation which was analyzed from the primary survey reports. The availability of any other school in the children’s reach & location where girl child can easily reach, were the other parameters. These centers started with the community participation and contribution, in between the 4-5 village panchayats. The location of the centre and contribution for venue was also made by the community participation.

Total 1787 (900 – girls and 887- boys) are enrolled with in a year in 15 such education centers at various standards (from Nursery to class 8).

Out Puts

The out put of the first years quality education was positive and encouraging. Out of total 1787 enrolled students, 1635 (714-girls, 760-boys) appeared in the examinations of nursery to class 5th and passed with excellent grades (marks) where as 143 students (74-girls, 69-boys) appeared in the examinations of class 6th to 10th with good performance.

Three students from Dalit community (studying at Gadsara education centre) were selected for “Navodaya Central School” where they will get free of cost education and all their expenses would be beard by the government

Now, the focus of the community is also changing. Poorest parent wants to give quality education to their children avoiding the attractions in government schools such as scholarship, mid day meal, free dress, free books etc. The project has induced substantial sense of responsibility for the education among the community and marginalized people get inclined towards the need and importance of the education.
